Veterinary visit, microchip and vaccination
På tirsdag dro vi til veterinæren med Snøjotnekullet. De skulle få sine microchip og dermed bli ferdig registrert i NKK, en vaksine og få en helsesjekk. Alt virket bra med hele gjengen. De som ikke skal bli værende her hos oss fikk også med seg en helseattest.
Valpene var nysgjerrige, uredde og sosiale. Bitte litt skeptiske helt i starten på dette rare, fremmede, stedet med mye uvante lukter men det gikk veldig fort over. Hyggelig veterinær og dyrepleier hos Grenland Dyreklinikk gjorde sitt til at valpene fikk en positiv opplevelse på sitt første besøk hos veterinæren.
Tuesday we went to the veterinary with Snøjotnekullet. They were to get their microchips and by that be fully registered in NKK. They also got a vaccination and a health check up. Everything check out for the entire litter. Those puppies not staying with us got a health certificate as well.
The puppies was curious, outgoing and social. A tiny bit skeptical at first in this strange, alien place with lots of unfamiliar smells, but it quickly past. A very nice veterinarian and assistant on Grenland Dyreklinikk made sure that the puppies got a positive experience on their first visit to the veterinary.
Alle valpene oppførte seg fint på bordet. De fleste smakte på godisen de ble tilbudt, og kun Drífa (svart tispe) hylte når hun fikk satt in chippen. Ikke så overraskende, hun er en smule mer forsiktig av seg enn sine søsken.
Mamma Såga fikk også en sjekk, og alt stod som forventet bra til med henne også.
All the puppies behaved well on the table. Most of them tasted the treat they were offerend, and only Drífa (black girl) screamed when she got the chip incerted. Not a big surprise that it was her, she is a bit more careful than her siblings.
Mum Såga got a check up as well, and as expected all was well with her too.
