uke 23 er Polaris sin uke
Week 23 is Polaris' week
Snøfrost Tindrende Polaris is the "puppy" of the family being the youngest we have at the moment at 19 months old. She's an energetic, strong willed, outgoing and happy young girl with lots of good qualites and attitude. Of the puppies we've bred Polaris is closest to her grandmother Denali in her behaviour and challenges. When your attitude says your queen of the world it's not so easy to behave.
She doesn't listen much to her mother Stjerne, but the other dogs she respects and she has a good pack mentaility and language.
Dag 2
Day 2
Polaris as a 7 weeks old puppy. She found a hill and climed it. Curious, bold and outgoing even at this young age. It was a hard choice between her and her sister Vega, both were of great promise, but in the end her boldness and likeliness to her gradmother made us choose her. We haven't regretted it although she has made us pretty tired of her antics at times.
Dag 3
Day 3
Still at a young age but Polaris has done really well in the show ring. Awarded champion quality in every show she has attended, 3 CACs (which is the limit), a group 2nd and a BIS 2 Junior as well as two winner titles: Norwegian Junior Winner-18 and Nordic Junior Winner-18. So far she has only been shown once in 2019. It will be interessting to see what she does on her next show.
Dag 4
Day 4
Polaris as 10 weeks old puppy, playing in the fresh snow.
Dag 5
Day 5
Polaris is still too young for being a working pack dog in our own opinion we don't start that training until our dogs are 2 years old. She still loves to work and pulls fairly hard when we hike.
Polaris is a happy hiking buddy and always ready to go like the rest of her family. In the photo she looks at me as I said her name. The photo is a rather poor mobile photo from one of our hikes to the peaks in Grenland.
Dag 6
Day 6
Polaris on her first trip in harness infront of a bicycle together with her mother Stjerne. This mobile photo is from July last year when she was 8,5 months old. Last summer was so hot and dry, and starting in the beginning of May, that there was no chance to try her out in harness before this date. Luckilly this summer is much cooler and more dog-friendly. Human friendly too when you enjoy hiking rather than sunbathing.

Day 7
Last photo of Polaris week is another dogshow photo. This is what she acts like in the ring. Jumping around and having a fun time. This photo was taken when we waited for our turn inside the ring on the biggest and most prestigious show of the year in Norway: Dogs4All
