Fredag 15. mai 2015 var vi på tur til en ny topp på lista til Titoppern Grenland. Denne gang til Årdalsåsen i Porsgrunn som er 258 m.o.h. Vi gjorde en rundtur ut av det, så etter å ha nådd toppen gikk vi videre til Svinholtdammen, og deretter over Røysåsen og Valleråsen. Det ble på totalt 9km.
Det var fint og varmt vær. Mesteparten av turen gikk i skogsterreng og det var en god del våte og gjørmete partier på turen. Det har nå kommet mange blader på trærne, de tidlige vårblomstene er i fred med å avblomstre og de første litt seinere vårblomstene har kommet frem.
På denne turen hadde vi med oss Fjellbris som kløvet, Gaia og Såga.
Friday the 15th of May 2015 we went for a hike to a new peak on the Titoppern Grenland list. This time the hike went to Årdalsåsen in Porsgrunn with an altitude of 258 meters. We made a round from this hike as well and after reaching the peak we continued on to Svinholtdammen, and the along Røysåsen and Valleråsen. In total it was a 9km hike.
The weather was nice and warm. Most of the hike was in woodlands, and with a fair amount of wet and muddy sections. The trees now have pretty much fully developed leaves, the early spring flowers are withering and the later spring blossoms are in bloom.
On this hike we brought with us Fjellbris who was backpacking, Gaia and Såga
Utsikten fra toppen var det ingenting å si på. Vi så fjorene i sør og de høyere fjellene i nord. Flott utsikt fra en liten topp.
